Notes from 2006:

This is a brief thank you to everyone who made our 2006 race a success. On a slightly damp day! Our teams of Marshall's/Drink Stations/Course Marking coped admirably, indeed runners praised our efforts at the finish which was a great compliment to our club.

Once again thank you (I will arrange a heat wave for next year).

Thank you to the marshalls and organizers ot the Bombardier 20.
Your consistently cheerful determination to support the race
in really awfully conditions was really appreciated.It seemed to me
a smaller field this year,but this seemed to make better competiton
as you seemed to recognise the people you were running with better.
I hope the race is on next year as it's now one of the must do's.
It's ashame there,s no Potts marathon ,but I will be off to try my luck in Wharfedale.

Just wanted to say thanks for a fantastic race today. Four of us from Shelton Striders in Derby travelled over to take part, and for two of us it was our first 20-mile race.

Despite the weather, we had a great time. What a fantastic route, well-organised race, friendly marshals and great hq. We are going to tell all our friends, and we’re hoping to come back and do it again next year.

For me, it was the perfect preparation for the Edinburgh Marathon (my first marathon) which is three weeks away.

Looking forward to seeing all the drowned rat photos!
